History

The building was built in the years 1921-1922, according to the design of the Wrocław architect Eras. As the building "Pod Śnieżką" ("Dom Śląski") it was in the hands of the ancestors of PTTK (DTTK and PTT) from 1945. In 1951, the Presidium of the Poviat National Council in Jelenia Góra, by decision of June 27, 1951, No. On November 16, 1950, the "Wierchy" WOP facility burned down and on that day PTT handed over the entire 2nd floor - 12 rooms in the building to WOP. By decision of January 2, 1951, the Presidium of the Poviat National Council in Jelenia Góra handed over the management and use to the military unit of J.W. No. 1134 one floor - 12 rooms in the "Dom Śląski" building. 1953 - 1959 - PTTK Tourist Equipment Board rented for J.W. 1121 in Lubań, part of the building for the needs of the WOP facility.



The Presidium of the Board of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society of PTTK on June 3, 1959, passed a resolution to consent to the transfer of "Dom Śląski" to the Ministry of the Interior, on the condition that the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK) would be left for a symbolic zloty, buffet rooms and living quarters for the staff. On August 5, 1959, a protocol was handed over by the Lusatian Brigade of WOP, leaving for PTTK: a buffet, a kitchen, a part of the basement and accommodation for 20 people. On May 18, 1998, by the decision of the Head of the District Office in Jelenia Góra, the permanent management of the Łużycki Division of the Border Guard was established on the property of the State Treasury. The administrator concluded in on April 1, 1998 (with the consent of the District Office of April 21, 1998) a 10-year lease agreement (with the possibility of extending it for another 10 years) with Mr. Henryk Czarski. The tenant includes a tourist buffet with auxiliary rooms on the ground floor and an apartment on the first floor. On September 12, 2005, the Starost of Jelenia Góra terminated the permanent management of the Lusatian Border Guard Unit in Lubań. On October 5, 2005, the Jelenia Góra County acquired the property free of charge. On December 23, 2005, the Jelenia Góra County leased the entire property to Mr. Henryk Czarskeim until December 22, 2008. In 2007, the Jelenia Góra County decided to sell "Dom Śląski", putting it up for a tender. As a result of the tender, the real estate was purchased on November 9, 2007 by Mr. Karol Warecki. On November 13, 2007, the lease agreement was terminated by Mr. Henryk Czarski (by mutual agreement of the parties); Since then, "Dom Śląski" has been run by Mr. Karol Warecki.
